Spring and the Wood Element

March 22, 2019 by alaya

The Wood element is associated with Spring, the season of planting seeds and new growth. Hopeful, colorful, and exuberant, it represents birth and regeneration. Wood’s corresponding meridians are the Liver and Gall Bladder. People with well-developed Wood energy have a clear sense of purpose. They excel at making decisions, setting goals, planning, and following through.

The Wood element in balance is creative, flexible, vigorous, and visionary. It surges forward with efficiency and determination, unhindered as it adapts to any obstacles it meets. Wood out of balance can be indecisive, stuck, and procrastinating, or overly controlling and pushing too hard. It may feel frustrated and angry, or shut down and hopeless. Physical signs of liver meridian stress include migraines, eye or sinus problems, hernia, genital rash or discharge, menstrual distress, and uterine fibroids.

AcuPresence Sacred Sites of Sensuality

AcuPresence Sacred Sites of Sensuality

AcuPresence reveals the magic of the vibrational frequencies of acupuncture points. As a vibrational medicine it invites you into the Sacred Temple of your body to explore these Sacred Sites (acupuncture points).

This healing art is a tool for awakening and grounding higher frequencies into the body. I’ve often been challenged with how I can best deliver it to the world. I’ve continued to trust and trust over the years as the whispers of this magic have caressed the nuances of my consciousness.

As I was contemplating this this morning, waiting for my room to warm up on this 27-degree morning, I found myself intuitively attuning with and awakening Sacred Sites on my body. I was deeply reminded of my body being a sacred vessel for the Divine. It wants to express this mystery. It is designed to awaken to all aspects of our divinity and our Sacred Sites are doorways to the magic of sensual and sexual pleasure.

I’d like to share the 7 Sacred Sites I attuned with this morning. You’ll find the AcuPoint Synopsis pages below. They provide pertinent information about the points.

The magic of AcuPresence is revealed by simply activating* the point with your awareness or hand, and attuning to its frequency by intoning its Invocation. You can better attune to the vibrational signature of the point by reading about its Essence, speaking the Invocation and then feeling this Divine energy awaken in your body. There are times when it’s important to press directly on the point, yet in this case, its fine to simply focus your consciousness on the approximate area.

* The first two points, Meeting of Yin (CV.1) and Yang Strength (GV.1) can be activated by simply contracting and releasing the perineum and anus.

Storyline Invocation

This is a mantra that weaves the Invocations for the 7 Sacred Sites illustrated below.

My vital life force (GV.1) and my feminine power (CV.1) unite with vital qi (CV.6), as my Gate of Life (GV.4), opens my heart (CV.17), and I feel (CV.22) my wholeness and deep peace (GV.20).

Suggestion:

Begin by attuning your consciousness to Meeting of Yin (CV.1) and Long Strength (GV.1), allowing this energy to move up your spine as it merges with Gate of Life (GV.4) and Sea of Qi (CV.6), flowing up through your throat at Heaven Rushing Out and on up through One Hundred Meetings.

All of these points are located on the energy channel of our Kundalini. Invite the flow of this sacred kundalini to move up your spine as the acupoints awaken their higher frequencies. As you awaken these energies you may find your body undulating like a serpent.

Enjoy the magic!

Article about Human Design by Lynette Hagins

Human Design: Were We Coded at Birth?

Human Design: Were We Coded at Birth?

Imagine a system that explains how you were built, and how to best respond to the world—like a combination between astrology and Myers-Briggs. It’s called Human Design, and its creation story is one for the ages: In short, Ra Uru Hu (née Alan Krakower), a former advertising executive and magazine publisher, had an eight-day visitation in the ’80s with a “Voice,” who dictated a mechanical system that’s literally a four-hundred-page textbook for how we all work, as defined by our time and place of birth. While it sounds nuts, when you actually generate your chart, you may be surprised by how much it sounds like you. While it’s easy to get a periphery understanding from Ra Uru Hu’s official site (it’s run by his family, as he passed away in 2011), you can also load up the talking Bodygraph here, or book a reading with a certified analyst. Speaking of certified analysts, we asked Lynette Hagins, who teaches Human Design and gives readings herself, to explain how it works.

Gene Keys Embodiment: The Magic of AcuPresence, by Midi Berry

January 23, 2019 by alaya

If you have what in Gene Keys language is a ‘one-line wound’, you may empathise with my long-time dilemma: my one-line core and attractor’s capacity to repress can sabotage me at ground floor level.

Each of the Gene Keys lines offers a particular archetypal challenge*. My two lines dance in denial of what I don’t want to accept; my singleton three line can outdo Houdini in order to escape shame; my four lines can play the rejection game to perfection, while my solitary five line struggles with guilt, and my distant six line isolates itself from all such human fallibility.

Yet how can I begin to know what to deny, escape, reject, avoid or absent myself from, when my wakeful one lines conspire to repress and hide my own felt experience from me? They can batten down my inner hatches so tightly, I even miss any well-meaning friends’ nudges to wake up.

If these words resonate with you, read on! I have good news for all us repressed one lines (and all the other lines too) about a magic doorway I have walked through into physical activation and embodiment of Gene Keys!

It’s called I Ching AcuPresence.

The Magic of AcuPresence

Have you met Alaya DeNoyelles? If not, you have a treat in store! Connecting with my ‘randomly selected’ Gene Keys Ambassador buddy, Alaya, has been one of many delights unfolding in my life, since I reverted to believing in magic.

Did I say random? Hah! Some wise part of me must already have known that Alaya has treasures to offer. I bought her book, AcuPresence: A Healing Vibrational Art, before the Ambassador Program brought us together. Perhaps that purchase gave fate a push to twin us as buddies, although at the time I assumed it was pure chance…

AcuPresence did not initially attract me for itself, although I did sense its high frequency. I have little experience of acupuncture and rarely learn ‘how to’s’ through reading.  I bought the book because I appreciated Alaya’s open-handed free sharing of beautifully presented resources in our Gene Keys community and I felt her generosity deserved to be reciprocated.

Signing up to her two-day AcuPresence course was a way to meet Alaya in person and support my  Ambassador buddy in her venture.  In truth, I didn’t feel like attending a course on anything just then. Several months of working through mononucleosis (aka glandular fever) had taken a toll. I felt exhausted and just wanted rest and relaxation.

An Unexpected Breakthrough

As I walked into Ojai’s Somatic Sanctuary, I looked for a place to sleep at the back. No chance! The seating arrangement offered nowhere to hide!

My heart sank as Alaya announced we would start with a guided meditation! I smiled outwardly and froze inwardly. Guided group meditation? Please no! However much I might try to relax, my being whispered ‘stay on alert, be ready to flee at a hint of danger and places I don’t want to go’. Past lifetimes of persecution, collective ancestral memories and a dysfunctional childhood in this life had left me wary…

I told myself to ‘play the game’ in support of my buddy. I shut my eyes and – as usual – left my body.

Then something unexpected and mysterious happened.

Was it Alaya’s gentle voice tone that conveyed a message: “It’s OK. You’re safe here. You can relax”? Was it the atmosphere of that healing sanctuary on a quiet Saturday morning. Was it simply that I had finally become tired of a lifetime spent spooking myself with imaginary shadows?

Whatever the reason, I suddenly found myself back in a recurrent childhood dream:

“I am a twelve year old Dutch boy in a field of golden corn. The sun shines in a blue sky and I am at one with my world, feeling totally at peace. Then the sky darkens. A droning sound fills my ears. I look up as planes fly over me. I hear a whistling sound and my world goes black.”

I’ve wondered many times about this dream. Was it a past life experience? Were my cells reliving an inherited collective nightmare imprinted in me as a baby or even in the womb? I was born just after WW2 ended, in a land and to a mother who had lost close family to the war, and spent years in fear of invasion and annihilation from the air herself. Then again, perhaps the dream offered symbolic representation of childhood physical abuse. All or none of the above?

Looking back now, I don’t know. And for the first time, I no longer feel pressure to understand. Many years on the dream had at last yielded its deeper meaning: subliminal terror of obliteration had led me to lock myself out of my own body for safety since early childhood.

Listening to Alaya through the day of AcuPresence instruction that followed this breakthrough, I felt both apprehensive and excited. I sense myself on the edge of reconnecting with my physical being. I won’t offer any course principles here, or describe how it weaves together seamlessly ancient and modern wisdom systems of I Ching, Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Human Design, Epigenetics and Gene Keys. You can Google ‘Alaya DeNoyelles’ or ‘AcuPresence’ and find her YouTubes and other resources online.

I will share my second epiphany in this one weekend course. It came on Day Two.

Locating and Activating Gene Key 59

I had selected GK59 for my personal focus. What better choice for a one line core wound, whose path to healing is through cultivating self honesty?

I had other reasons for selecting the key. In addition to giving me some personal two-line 59 shadow IQ headaches over the years, I’ve also watched this archetype influence our Gene Keys field strongly.

Gene Key 59 does not have to be in our personal profile to challenge us all: the Dishonesty of its shadow frequency lies deep within our collective memory and genes. Ancestral imprints of self deception for survival still keep entire communities around the world stubbornly hard-wired.

It may take our species many lifetimes with GK59 to transmute our collective Dishonesty into Transparency through the path of Intimacy. When we do, the 59’s bio-feedback loop role will be complete and it will have helped its programming partner, Gene Key 55 to unlock the door to Freedom.

With professional acupuncturists among our course participants, I expected to lag in our practical sessions on Day Two. Yet Alaya facilitated different experience levels with skill and diplomacy. My first solo self-attunement session was surprisingly easy and enjoyable. The choice of Gene Key may have helped, for my body was already primed: the 59 Core Point and Energy Centre had been activated during Day One’s guided meditation, with our focus on that most deeply feminine of acupoints: ‘Meeting of Yin’.

Alaya’s research gives us access into exquisite ancient Chinese stories associated with the different acupoints. I enjoyed reviewing her descriptions of the Essence, Medicinal Virtues and Category of each of the six acupoints associated with GK59, before deciding which ones I’d work with. Her use of the original Chinese acupuncture names for these points also adds a pleasing aesthetic frequency.

Curiously, ‘Amidst Elegance’, did not instantly speak to me. Yet, as I studied the location image, I noticed my hand automatically reaching for those spaces between first and second rib, below my clavicle, on either side of my centre point. This Spirit acupoint seemed to be calling out for attention. Preoccupied with identifying its exact physical location on my body, I forgot in the moment to review its description. Massaging the point felt gently relieving.

The 59 Vesica Point was instantly accessible in the palm of my hand and I loved its invocation:  “In the Palace of Weariness, I am revitalised and nourished in every cell of my body and my heart sings.”

Yes please!

The Window to Heaven point called ‘Heavenly Pillar’ at the base of the occipital bone in my neck sounded equally appealing and almost as easy to locate. “At Heavenly Pillar I move forward with courage and fresh, clear inspiration.”

Oh good!

With three AcuPresence points located and activated, I reviewed their descriptions again. My body was responding to this focused physical attention. I could feel new energy stirring in me.

Epiphany!

My second breakthrough was as unexpected and surprising as the first. It came when I followed steps to create a ‘Storyline’. This is where you sum up and distil the essence of your self-attunement session, through weaving together key invocation elements from each point into a single coherent narrative.

I identified three single phrases quickly, without conscious thought. Wrote them down. Read them aloud. Reread them. And felt high voltage electricity course through my body.

“When I respect the beauty and grace within me, I am nourished in every cell of my body and move forward with fresh inspiration.”

That elusive Spirit Point invocation phrase from Amidst Elegance, which I had missed the first time round, now leaped out at me from the storyline: Respect the beauty and grace within me.

When in my life had I ever focused on, much less respected my beauty and grace within? Never that I can remember!

I don’t know how long I sat, bemused, pondering. Am I beautiful and graceful within?

Heck yes! Suddenly I opened to accept the grace I was being offered. Self-respect, inner peace and tranquillity.

The Practice of Self Love

Asking and expecting nothing from it, my AcuPresence weekend course nonetheless yielded a bountiful treasure, through a simple recipe for transformation: discover and wake up my body by activating my Gene Keys acupoints and open to respecting my beauty and grace within.

Since the course, I’m enjoying a new embodied relationship with my IQ 59 and also beginning to work with other Gene Keys in an AcuPresence way. Months later, I feel more anchored in my physical body than before. Tiny miracles illuminate my path and I’m experiencing a new rush of creativity. I’ve seen tangible improvements in health and vitality, and my service in the world feels light and fun.

Alaya describes AcuPresence as a “practice of self love” in which “the key ingredient is your presence.” Applying the gift of Intimacy to myself and offering my experience with our community here are small steps on that 59 journey to personal and collective Transparency.

Thanks Alaya! Thanks, AcuPresence! Thanks Gene Keys!

I Ching AcuPresence® By Alaya DeNoyelles (published by Gene Keys)

January 23, 2019 by alaya

It was during my journey on my Gene Keys Golden Path several years ago that the inspirational whispers over many years finally crystalized and I began writing AcuPresence®, A Vibrational Healing Art. AcuPresence is a transformative healing art based on the tradition of Classical Acupuncture, the spiritual essence of acupuncture points and the universal principle that everything is vibration. A founding premise of AcuPresence is that everything begins as frequency and we are composed of frequency. AcuPresence works by attunement to this frequency via our acupuncture points.

There is a branch of this vibrational healing art that I’m very excited to share with our Gene Key Community, I Ching AcuPresence.

As a Classical Five Element Acupuncturist I have a deep a passion for what’s known as the “Spirit of the Point,” the pure essence of an acupuncture point released into the body when its activated. I believe the heart of ancient acupuncture is the vibrational healing power of the spirit of points.

I became interested in working with the spirit of the points in relationship to Human Design over ten years ago. My experimentation developed further when I was introduced to the Gene Keys in 2011. I dove deeply into this transmission, and started picking out points that I felt related to the I Ching hexagrams most prominent in my patients’ Gene Keys Golden Path.

In the course of hundreds of hours of playing with how points aligned with hexagrams, I discovered a geometric formula for how points matched up with hexagrams based on their elemental components. This gave birth to I Ching AcuPresence®.

The ancient oracle of the I Ching charts the seasons, the five elements, and the cycles of life; it maps out this information in hexagrams. The binary mathematical code of the makeup of these hexagrams is essentially identical to the genetic code of life reflected in our DNA that’s mapped into our body at the moment of birth. This hexagram map of the five elements encoded within our body is easily accessible via the energy meridian system and acupuncture points.

I Ching AcuPresence Acupoints

Each I Ching hexagram is comprised of two trigrams, each representing one of the five elements: wood, fire, earth, metal and water. The AcuPresence points are constitutional to each hexagram, meaning that they address the relationship of the two elements that constitute the hexagram. There are several methodologies and formulas used in the specific selection of Acupoints constitutionally related to the I Ching hexagrams. For example, if the hexagram is comprised of an earth trigram and a water trigram, then each constitutional acupoint will be either an earth or a water acupoint, depending on the hexagram’s makeup.

Each of the 12 principal meridians is associated with an element and also contains points related to each of the five elements. For example, on a fire meridian, there is a fire, wood, earth, metal and water point. Further, each trigram is either yin or yang in nature. This determines whether a yin or yang meridian is chosen.

Above is an example: hexagram 28 is metal over wood.

The top trigram is metal and the bottom trigram is wood. In this situation, the source point is the wood point on the metal meridian. Because the upper trigram in hexagram 28 is yin in nature, the yin organ, the lung, is indicated. Since the bottom trigram is wood, the wood point on the lung meridian is chosen, which is Crooked Pond, Lung 11. Each of the following Acupoint categories supports a specific aspect of your human makeup. There is a set of 6 acupoints for each I Ching hexagram.

Source Acupoint

This is the point holds the highest concentration of Qi available for the hexagram. If you were to attune to only one point, you would most likely choose this one.

Core Stability Acupoint

The Core Points ground and root you and provide a profound connection to your deep core, and alignment with your inner purpose.

Spirit Acupoint

Spirit Points call up the deepest reserves of nourishing spiritual Qi and serve to maintain balance and harmony between yin and yang.

Vesica Acupoint

The Vesica Point balances the yin and yang of two opposite hexagrams. This is the Source Point for a hexagram’s Programming Partner, the hexagram that is its mirrored opposite.

Window to Heaven Acupoint

Presencing a Window to Heaven Point is like opening a window or skylight in a dark, closed room to let in light, fresh air and new vision. They harmonize the relationship between the heart and mind.

Physiology Acupoint

Every hexagram is connected to an organ, nerve cluster, structure, or function in the body. The Physiology Point directly influences how this body part, system, or anatomical process functions.

I Ching AcuPresence Protocols

There is a corresponding I Ching AcuPresence Handbook for each of the 64 hexagrams. These handbooks are available as 21 page eBook publications. The overview keynotes of each hexagram are given through the lens of each of the following three approaches: The I Ching Hexagram, The Gene Keys and Human Design. You are also given the set of Acupoint Synopsis Pages for the 6 Acupoints associated with the hexagram. We’ve also just created a Summary Handbook of all 64 for easy reference for those incorporating I Ching AcuPresence into their Professional and Healing Art Practices for easier reference.

You can download a free sample Handbook here, along with its free Instruction Manual. If you prefer an eBook for a different Gene Key, please email me @ alaya@acupresence.co and I’ll be happy to gift it to you!

I Ching AcuPresence Live and E-Learning Courses

A founding inspiration behind AcuPresence was to empower people to give themselves AcuPresence Sessions. It’s recently become very clear that people also want to receive and give others AcuPresence Sessions. Thus we’ve recently developed over 125 CEU hours of Accredited Courses to teach those inspired to do just that! It’s very exciting to witness this passion. Several live trainings are scheduled with the E-Learning courses launching in March.

Richard Rudd has been an amazing support during my process with this transmission. He very graciously wrote the foreword to AcuPresence. Following are a few excerpts:

…Alaya has combined one of the most powerful and tested healing systems in the world—Classical Chinese Medicine, with the spiritual practice of contemplation. …  I encourage readers to follow Alaya’s elegant guidance to trust in their own intuition and chose one or two AcuPresence points to begin with and then bring all your listening intention into those points. I have found the results to be quick and powerful…  If you take it all the way, you will even activate those ‘Siddhis’—the expressions of pure love…  above all I encourage you to enter this new yet ancient field of AcuPresence with a spirit of commitment and play…

AcuPresence is a living and evolving healing art that is constantly expanding and growing. My prayer is that it flows organically and freely to all who may benefit from receiving its loving quintessence. You can learn more at www.AcuPresence.com.

Please enjoy and let me know if I can support your journey in any way!

With Love, Alaya

Suns Transits thru the Hexagrams

January 22, 2019 by alaya

I Ching Acupresence offers us a tool to experience a deeper embodiment of the hexagrams.

For years I’ve found it profound to work with the acupuncture points directly related to my Gene Keys Profile. As of late, I’ve been working with the acupoints associated to the sun’s transit as it moves thru the cosmos, this represents 70% of the neutrinos flowing thru all of humanity.

I’m intrigued with the probability of raising my frequency as well as the vibration of the collective neutrino field simply by attuning to the higher frequencies of the acupoints. Magic is revealing!

Every week we offer a zoom videoconference call reviewing the I Ching Hexagram of the suns transit and locate the acupuncture points associated with the hexagram as the I Ching AcuPresnece PDF that guides you thru all 6 associated acupoints. Have fun dancing with the universe if you’re inspired! . You can access this information here:

Immune Support

January 13, 2019 by alaya

Are you finding a need to boost your Immune System during these winter days?

Winter is a time for us to be inner, quiet, hybernating, contemplative, a time to be building our inner reserves, nourishing our Kidney Jing Qi… for many of us this is not always possible as we need to be out in the elements, working etc… our immune system can suffer.

Nourishing ourselves is imperative in keeping our health and spirits vibrant. I’m offering you some of my favorite acupuncture points/sacred sites that I’ve been loving up lately!

For flu, cold, fever symptoms I love Great Hammer, Crooked Pond, Blazing Valley and Joining of the Valleys.

For tender, sore throat and congestion I recommend Heaven Rushing Out, People Welcome, Joining of the Valley’s and Storehouse.

Below you’ll find the Acupoint Synopsis Pages for these points. The best way to choose the points you’d like to activate and attune with is to read about them and feel into your body’s needs. To benefit from their gifts you can simply press on the point, activate it with a tuning fork, essential oil or however you’re inspired. Attune to its frequency by repeating its invocation, send this love out into your body and invite your body to come into the vibrant resonance of the point.  Adhering an AcuPresence Attunement Seed to the point reminds you to go back to the sacred site and reactivate it again and again. If you don’t have any seeds on hand you can receive our Free offering of AcuPresence Attunement Seeds.

Sending Blessings of Love and well-being to you as you continue on your magical journey.
